Hi, you have to use the TIA menu bar -> Online -> Extended go online (or extended download). After that you can enter the ip-address of the HMI manually. You do not have to change the ip-address of the PC, otherwise the VPN connection itself won't work anymore. The routing has to be done by the router configuration. Nevertheless, you must be able to ping the ip-address of the destination device. You can check this in beforehand. If this is not possible, it would also not possible to transfer the data. How can you use the STEP 7 Online functions even when NAT (Network Address Translation) is being used or a remote subnetwork is to be reached?regards sancruz |

Hello Do you want to download A WinCC Advanced Runtime is this correct? If yes then select the Advanced RT in the project tree not the IPC/PC. You will need only to download the PC Station if you use a Simatic Net Konfiguration (only for RT Advanced you will not need!). Show please also a screenshot of your PC Station in Hardware view. Do you have used a IE General Ethernet Adapter or a special IPC type? (And also disconnect all online connections to PLCs or similar before you do a download) If nothing works you can also use an offline download of the WinCC: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109740696 Bye Murof |
