Hello woodpecker it seems you are asking two seemingly related yet different questions. Before we get to them let me start by saying thata DP/DP Coupler is nothing more (and nothing lesss) than a DP Slave. As such, if the I/O addressesof the DP Slave are inside the Process Image, you canof course access them from the Process Image (e.g."I" and "Q" access). As for the Process Image Partition (PIP) usage, you can do so too with a DP/DP coupler and declare the PIP for each configured I/O module inside the DP/DP coupler.
