Hello scott; I do not believe a gsd file can be used to change the confioguration of a I/O module. The gsd file can only be used to configure communications between a master and a slave over Profibus-DP; the sl;ave's configuration cannot be modified over communications. This has to be set in the Simatic Manager, through the HWConfig editor. I should hope your radio-modem allows you to connect Step 7 to all its components, including the remote ET 200M. Your particular module (332-5hf00-0ab0) can be set to voltage or current in the HWConfig editor, and within each setting you have different ranges that must be selected, saved and downloaded to the PLC before they become active. And wiring is different for 4-wire voltage outputs, 2-wire voltage outputs and current outputs. You should download the S7-300- Module Data manual, on page 394 you will find the parameters that can be set for this particular module: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/8859629 Of course feel free to check out the whole section explaining the functions and wiring diagrams of your analog output module. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
