RF240R in TIA Portal v18: tip on troubleshooting the FB`s ?

Equiptment:
Tia 18, 1515-2PN, CM 8xIO-Link, RF240R and D126.

I have started this project with the base from the IOL_READ_WRITE application. and set up the I/Olink master according to the manual, with the changes going from ET200 to CM.

When trying to read out the tag i do not get any error message nor ID from the FB.
When trying to write to the tag i do not get any error message, nor confirmation that the ID is written to the tag.

As you can see in the attached image i do get presence, and checking IB5-7 the tag information is also beeing read.

This is the first time i am using RFID and I/O link, so i`m sure i have missed somthing somewhere...
Do you have any tip on troubleshooting the FB`s ?

Hi,

do you by conicidence know the UID of the tag you're using?
I suspect the reader is in the wrong mode (UID mode instead of user data).

%IB area shows exactly 8 bytes beginning with 0xE0, I think it's the UID of the tag.

Also the address used at the Read block is 0. So %IB2 and %IB3 should have to be 0 too, but they're not.

Could you check the mode of the reader (with PCT)?

 Changing from UID to user data solved the issue
