Encoder adjustment procedure can’t start

I’m trying to configure a separately-excited synchronous motor with the use of Sinamics s120 for a stator supply and Sinamics DCM as a field supply. Communication works correctly, and it is possible to start the motor without an encoder (U/f), but can’t run with the encoder because of (as I suppose) wrong angular commutation offset (p0431) (to be exact: the motor rotates but with vibrations). To set this parameter I tried to use “Encoder adjustment” but couldn’t start procedure:

1) When drive is "Ready" (p0010=0), I can’t activate measurement because change of p1990 is blocked (picture1);

2) When drive is in "encoder commissioning mode" (p0010=4), I can activate measurement but it’s impossible to set: “Drive ON”,  moreover change state back to Ready (p0010=0) forces change of p1990 to 0;

Is it possible to run “Encoder adjustment” or “Encoder adjustment during operation” procedure?

Hi, I haven't done it so far but from the parameter description I understand that setting p1900=2 automatically sets p1910=1 and p1990=1. So maybe you can change p1900 (when p10 = 1) and then switch on the drive to do the measurement?

Good point RB91, in the parameter description p1900 changes p1910 and p1990, but it seems not to work in real world. I tested this idea and that is what happened:

1) I set p1900=2, that caused change of p1910 to 1, but p1990 didn’t change; (picture1)

2) Stationary measurement was made, p1900 and p1910 went to 0; (picture2)

3) I turned the drive on again and it started rotating with vibrations (before turned on, I had increased time in parameter p0346 because stationary measurement calculation had caused error); (picture3)

Any others ideas how to run “encoder adjustments”?

Could you solve this problem ? How ? 

I think I run into this issue with p1910 every few years and again lost few hours to this. So this is  message to me in few years again looking for same problem.

Without looking for root cause.

Problem is safety function enabled. To write to this parameter safety enable must be removed from drive. Either unplug profinet, open safety door, press e-stop or deactivate safety. Write parameter, revert what you did, reset and activate measurement in control panel as normal.
