ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 22434 Rating: (3029)	Hello, create a I/O symbol for the output on the TB30 and copy the globalvalue in a task to this I/O symbol. With the newer scout you can use the symbolic adress assignment feature to create the output. Create the IO Symbol and select "OUT" as adress, now you can browse for the TB30 output in the field "Assignment". Regards Christoph

Glenn@CNCDesign Posts: 61 Rating: (1)	I am using Scout V4.1 on this Project so cannot use symbolic address. How to determine what will be the Output address ? I am using telegram 391 in Control Unit do i need need to assign Input and Output words to the TB30 in the message frame ? how many then what will be address of Analog Outputs if say the start address is 304

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 22434 Rating: (3029)	Hello, the TB30 have is own Telegramm slot so you should use this slot and nót the slot of the Control unit. On the I/O Mask of the TB30 you can configure which PZD is use for the Output (r2050.0 for example) So you crete a Telegram with 1 Word Output for the TB30 in teh Telegram overview. The you create a IO Symbol Type Word with the Startadress of the TB30 slot. Regards Christoph

Glenn@CNCDesign Posts: 61 Rating: (1)	Hi Christoph, still no joy. I have set the Analog Output configuration as below Message frame starting WORD 262 p2050(0) to the output forced a value to PQW262 (264, 266, 268) but still no output at TB30 what have I missed ?
