Sinamics S120 Infeed fault: OFF1 enable missing

Bit Banger Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	I am commissioning a single axis system using the automatic commissioning feature in Starter, and all the parameters look correct. When I enabled the drive I could hear it turn on, then it cut off with an error message: There is a fault in the infeed. Looking at the diagnostics I see: The OFF1 enable missing - (P0898.0 = 0[8920] on poweron inhibit is present) What is the cause of this and how do I correct it? Thanks.

Bit Banger Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Sinamics Smart Line Module, part number 6SL3130-6TE23-6AA3 Input: 3AC 380-480V, 50/60 Hz Output: DC 600V, 60A, 36KW Internal Air cooling I'm also getting the following faults in the diagnostics: Infeed enable missing speed controller inhibited Note that the EP terminals (X21) are hooked up with +24V applied. I tried setting P840 to "1" in the expert list, but that didn't fix the problem. p864 = S_INF_02:r863, r863.0 = closed loop operation = No r863.1 = energize contactor = No r863.2 = inline supply failure = No Another observation is the led's on the line module and the motor module change from green to both green and orange.

Bit Banger Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	We have another unit we were successfully able to commission in the same way, so I was able to verify the state of the leds, but thanks. The two units are wired up identically, so I have no reason to believe it's a hardware issue, though the unit I'm commissioning now is somewhat different in that it's larger (higher power), and the motor is an induction motor without a brake, versus the lower power unit that has a synchronous motor with a brake. To run through the steps I've used to turn the unit on: 1. Apply +24V to the EP terminals on the line and motor modules. 2. Go to drive navigator->commissioning->allow motor to run. 3. Assume control priority. 4. Switch infeed on. 5. I can hear the sound of the switching transistors for a second or two, then the unit shuts down with the message "there is a fault in the infeed". Prior to switching the unit on all of the leds are green, including the RDY led on the CU320-2, and when I look in "diagnostics->missing enables" I see: Bit 0 OFF1 enable missing 9 Infeed enable missing 30 Speed controller inhibited After the unit cuts off, the RDY led on the CU320-2 blinks red, and when I look in "diagnostics->missing enables" I see: Bit 0 OFF1 enable missing 1 OFF2 enable missing 2 OFF3 enable missing 3 Operation enable missing 9 Infeed enable missing 10 Ramp-function generator enable missing 11 Ramp-function generator start missing 12 Setpoint enable missing 30 Speed controller inhibited When I look at "diagnostics->status word sequence control" I see: Bit 6 Switching on inhibited active 13 Command close holding brake It seems to me there's something missing in the configuration logic, something needs to be hooked up in BICO, but I can't figure out what. Bit Banger Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	The problem was that the default setting for the input voltage on the infeed was 400V rms, our input is 480V rms. When we changed it, it worked. Thanks again for your input.

What I must to do?! Hello. You should apply OFF1 command, then drive switches to o7.x state.
