As I have not found a thread on RF186C that I have a problem with, I have decided to ask you for help. The configuration is RF186C module and two readers RF340R 2 gen.Tags D425 After sending the RESET_RF300 command to CM, the RUN lamp turns green. The ER1 and ER2 lights flash red one at a time. The diagnostic LEDs on the readers are lit blue. From the WWW level it is possible to read UID tags and then the readers react correctly - of course the PLC is disconnected. In you first post you said that you successfully reset the readers (steady green LED) and afterwards you said that the diagnostic LED is blue. That's not possible. Either the LED is green or orange or blue. Two colors at the same time isn't possible. I guess we need more information about your problems.

From this level RF340R readers behave correctly. It is not possible to reset the readers from the PLC level. I get error 0xE6FE0500 when trying to read it. This would indicate that even though the RESET command is sent, the configuration of the module is not initialized. I know that the first thing I need to know is that the readers must be green to start working with them.

After contacting the Polish office Siemens was guided to the trail that leads to the GSDML file. In the project was used a file that can be downloaded from the communication module. After its installation and use in the project there is a first problem. When creating a technological object I am not able to correctly configure the reader - the checkbox of the tag type is unavailable, as well as other configuration options. The configuration file contained in TIA Portal behaves correctly. The problem has been solved, the question remains why the file that can be downloaded from the module does not work.
