RF310R and RF340T GSD File

I have a question about the RF380R. What's the difference between the standard version and the 2 Gen version ? In the reader parameter the program ask me the type of the reader and i've see the RF380R and RF380R 2 Gen.

The code of the product is 6GT2801-3AB10.

What's the correct type to choose ?

Yours is Gen1 so just chose "RF380R".

The difference is mainly some features. Gen2 can read Moby-E transponders additionally to ISO and RF300 transponders. Also Gen2 has a function to read all three transponder types within the same parameterization,  whereas Gen1 has to change it's parameters to read different transponder types.

Concern the comunication reader - transponder is only necessary configure the SIMATIC Ident Read Block?

Before calling the read block you have to call Reset_Reader once. The Reset_Reader block sends the configuration from the Technology Object to the reader.

Before the reset the LED from the reader is flashing green. After the reset the LED shines steadily green which indicates that it's ready for operation.

And when i execute the reset the RF120 give me an error.
