V20 hard wire and modbus

Hi Expert,

I have a question about sinamics v20. My customer request is to use hard wire to control run and stop using local push button and use potentiometer using AI1, and also can run and stop using PLC(hard wire) also PLC will give 0-10v to control the motor speed. For this situation I can use BICO to set is no problem. But the problem is at the same time they want to use modbus for run and stop STATUS, can v20 able to do that?

Yes it is possible to read the status of the V20 drive with Modbus RTU, without controlling the drive with Modbus RTU.
