Can I use a standard SD memory card for SINAMICS V20 and V70?

Tractor Gold Expert Joined: 3/27/2008 Last visit: 11/3/2024 Posts: 1144 Rating: (142)	This is the statement from the manual: Using memory cards from other manufacturers SD card requirement: ● Supported file format: FAT16 and FAT 32 ● Maximum card capacity: 32 GB ● Minimum card space for parameter transfer: 8 KB Note You use memory cards from other manufacturers at your own risk. Depending on the card manufacturer, not all functions are supported (for example, download) My comments: Cards greater than 32GB will not work, so observe this limitation. Format the SD card before using, to be sure this is FAT32. As the card is being used for transferring data, I have found any SD card will do. Tractor
