ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/11/2026 Posts: 36435 Rating: (4547)	Firmware updates for S7-12xx Firmware update V4.7.0 provides the following improvements and functional changes: User management access control (UMAC) Provides ability to grant specific users or user groups access to a PLC and can significantly reduce security risks Performs local management of users, roles, and CPU function rights in the STEP 7 project System logging (Syslog) An log audit functionality to record the critical operation of users and important security events Ability to set names of SNMP read and read/write Community strings An option to configure the read/write community string if SNMPv1 is activated.

Yes, seems to be for Step7 V20: Necessary requirements for running the above modules and functionalities Standard and Fail-safe S7-1200 CPUs require STEP 7 V20, Basic or Professional or greater to configure and program V4.7 firmware. From the following Product note: Firmware V4.7 for S7-1200 available
