ONE Sinumerik 1750 + HT10: MDA Text is write protected

Hi Steve.

We face similiar problem. We have a Normal computer with Operate system (Not base). A ONE Sinumerik 1750 + HT10.

The main problem is with MDA, whenever you change to MDA, ramdombly the MDA is on the HT10 and then is not possible to modify on the computer. When this happens, we open by VNC and change the screen to Startup, then on the computer we select again MDA and "eboila", the MDA bufffer move to the computer.

Is not a big task, but some customers are really anoyed about that.

I have a partial solution, if you select F10-F6 or startup screen, then if you press Jog, AUTO,etc. The HT10 keeps on Startup screen. and after that the MDA alwais are on the computer.

What I dont know Is how can I program or modified, for example whenever i press jog or auto or MDA, change the HT10 to startup screen istead move always to Machine screen or F10-F1....

Any idea?

You have to switch off the internal HMI,
so as Steve described in the other thread 

“sc disable HMI”

Hi, But if you disable the HMi screen by WinSCP por example the HT10 will not work

You say Operate is running on the PC.
 Only one Operate can be active in the 840Dsl,
 one reason for this is the behavior of MDA

So either internal OPERATE on the NCU 
or external OPERATE on IPC or whatever

Does it work if the HT10 screen is NOT on the Machine area when you switch to MDA?

It may help to set bit 1 in MD51040 SWITCH_TO_MACHINE_MASK  ;Automatic operating area switchover to machine.

Bit 1: No automatic switch to Machine operating area when the operating mode is changed over via the machine control panel (MCP).

Hi all:

The problem I think we have something not good at all. I try to explain but I am not really familiar about versions, etc.

What we have is an IPC 847E, that is supossed not compatible with PCU-Basesoftware. So we have installed just Sinumerik operate for PC 6.22. and the machine has also the HT10.

The HT10 is conected to the CNC, so thats why I understand that we cannot disable the HMI.

Thanks Steve about this parameter, by the moment is ok. now If I just change the Screen on the HT10 to another one , MDA is alwais working on the PC. I would like to know if its possible to change the default screen of the HT10 while booting. Becasue always show machine_screen at first, If I can set for example alarms, I think the customer will acept this modification. Becasue if not, they are thinking to change the HT10 by a HT2....

realted to this problem, there is another one really risky. Is about the positioning tab on machine. We have experienced that whuile you use the Operate and set values, later use the HT10, for example, we see on the HT10 that is only one value on one axis, but indeed there is also values on the Operate PC and then finally move 2 axes for example.

in the same way I remember that in previous versions, the values of positioning tab, automatically are deleted after complete the motion, but in ONE the values are not cleared.. very risky...
