Hi Mr Lindh, I did some tests with a MTP1200, bootloader V9.2 and image version V20. I loaded a project with local user management, rebooted the device and the users were available. Then I created a new user on the device, rebooted and all users are still available. So I turned off the device overnight, but today all users are available again. So I'm pretty sure that the behavior you describe is not a common problem. You may want to contact technical support or your Siemens sales representative. Kind regards |

Hi, As I learned earlier, the user database changed with V19 Update 3. In some cases, when upgrading a device with an older version to a newer one, the old user configuration is not deleted. When a new configuration is downloaded, the system has two configurations available. Consequently, the system does not initialize the data upon reboot, resulting in the loss of user data. Resetting the device to its factory settings would help delete the old data. Kind regards |
