Step7 5.2 pro install

mavhe Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi: I am try to install Step7 5.2 pro on two PC, one is Windows2000, one is Windows XP with latest SP. But Step process screen should blink for option, and it straight run to finish without install anything.[:cry:] When I install Step 5.1 basic, everything installed fine. no glitch at all. Any suggestion will be appreciate. MavHe

Please consider, if you have installed STEP 7 Basic V5.1, you can not install STEP 7 V5.2 or V5.3 Professional. You have to deinstall STEP 7 V5.1 complete and delete in this case the registry files. In refer to the deinstallation of STEP 7 pleasemake all the steps which are described in the FAQ "Complete Deinstallation of STEP 7", which do you will find by Beitrags-ID: 189025. The FAQ you will find by the customer support of Siemens: http://www.siemens.com/automation/csi_en/product After the complete deinstallation you can install the STEP 7 Professional V5.2 or V5.3.
