a.z.r Bronze Member Joined: 6/8/2013 Last visit: 10/1/2024 Posts: 188 Rating: (1)	HI ALL I want to communicate between a s7 315 2-dp VIA A CP343-1 and a TSX Premium p57203 VIA A ETY 110 WS MODULE AND SOFTWARE IS PL7.......COMMUNICATION IS IN MODBUS TCP/IP. FOR THIS COMMUNICATION ONLY FB5 (AG_SEND) AND FB6(AG_RECV) ARE ENOUGH? OR MUST I USE OF FB108(MODBUSCP) FOR THIS COMMUNICATION? CAN I DON'T USE FB108(MODBUSCP)? IS ANY INFORMATION OR MANUAL ABOUT FB108? CAN YOU GIVE ME A GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT CONFIGURATION AND PROGRAMMING IN PL7? THANKS FRIENDS

Sakura Silver Member Joined: 9/22/2010 Last visit: 7/25/2024 Posts: 225 Rating: (28)	If you installed the Modbus/TCP CP product, you can find a manual in the SIMATIC -> Documentation folder in the Windows start menu. In addition to that there is an onlinehelp for the block FB108. So if you select it in the SIMATIC Manager and press F1, you will find information about the block. If you don't want to use the FB108, you can implement the Modbus communication yourself. In that case you can use AG_SEND and AG_RECV for the communication. Regards, Sakura
