I think it should be possible to use the WebbrowserControl to display a pdf File for example from an USB device:

file:///media/simatic/X61/test.pdf

or

file:///media/simatic/X61/test.pdf?20#page=20

I tested it with a Unified Basic Panel, so I think this should also work on a Unified Comfort Panel

With WinCC Unified, you can use the web control to display PDF files. As the manual explains, you can display locally or externally stored PDF files using the file:// URL syntax. However, be aware that this only works locally. Therefore, you cannot view local PDF files when accessing the runtime externally via the web client. The http(s):// syntax works in both cases — locally and externally — as long as the URL is accessible to the panel and your external device.

On your PC, placing a file in the public folder of the web server allows you to use the HTTPS:// syntax, enabling internal and external access. However, since you cannot access the public path of the web server on the WinCC Unified Comfort panel, this workaround is unusable.

Unfortunately, Siemens does not provide a solution that allows you to use a local PDF file with an external web client.
