Hello smart people!
Is there any way to change the layout of the keyboard when entering values in input fields?
I have no need for the standard keyboard, I only need a numeric one.

Ive played around with the different "Output formats" but no matter what i set it too, it doesnt seem to make a difference.

Do you have a Unified Comfort Panel or a Unified PC RT?

What exact software version are you using, including Updates?

I believe that with the latest Updates / versions, you should be able to display a numeric keyboard if the input to be entered in the IO Field is a number.

Hey, sorry, i probably should've been more specific.. hehe

im using a MTP1000 Unified comfort panel, updated to the latest version in Tia18.

Im only interested in entering numbers, and i believe all my input fields are set up as so, sadly it is still the standard keyboard that pop ups when trying to enter a value.

Is there a setting for this or?

As detailed in the following section of the UCPs manual, if a numeric value is to be entered in an input box, the numerical screen keyboard is displayed.

So, is the version of the image installed in the UCP the last one released as well?

Also, with the Unified Toolbox Siemens has included Userspecific keyboards, so maybe you can try it!

I'm certain that the version installed on the UCP is the latest version released, so I do not think that is the issue.

How do I specify that the value I wish to enter is numeric? Because I can only imagine that to be the problem then

Are you doing the tests simulating the UCP or downloading the project to the real panel?

I have been able to test and it seems that when simulating the UCP, the Runtime shows the Normal Keyboard in case of Numeric Format configured, while with the real UCP, the Numeric Keyboard appears when clicking on the IO Field.

Im using a real panel, i just attempted to do it again and no matter what i put in "Output format" from the list you so kindly sent, the numeric keyboard will not show up.

Can you send me a screenshot of exactly what you did with the IO-field? thank you in advance

- i just checked, im missing the "Numeric values" option in the drop down menu, even though my panel image version is 18.0.0, any ideas?

It's still not working in V19 with a comfort panel ...

It's still not working in V19 Update2 with a unified comfort panel（V19.0.0.2）.

Perhaps it will be resolved in future software and image versions
