Who said such a stupid thing? Siemens designed and manufactured LOGO and continues to sell it, so there's no reason to say they don't support a feature that was a key selling point when 8.3 was released. ixo65's question is legitimate, there have been no particularly supportive posts from user LOGO Support lately. Btw, i have repeatedly mentioned that essentially LOGO is more or less an Arduino class device designed on a DIN rail. As if the Finder or someone else was reading minds, a few days ago a device with quite similar characteristics was advertised on the Arduino website and supports cloud computing. Something that Siemens has not been able to create for their product in 3+ years. |

Sorry, you're barking at the wrong gate. It's stupid of Siemens support to say that they don't support a feature advertised by their product. At first I also played with AWS and even got something working, but after a while the connection to AWS stopped working.I was busy with other things and later forgot... until AWS sent a warning that the one year grace period is over and you have to pay further. You can tinker with it, but I'm afraid that most people on this forum have given up on LOGO cloud connectivity. You cannot build a long-term solution on top of that, because Amazon can change its cloud service rules, API, usage policy etc at any moment... and Siemens says it's none of their business. |

WWEE, thanks for the heads up on the Arduino Opta. Sounds promising. My hope is that Siemens is paying attention. |

Thank you M111, however, I have done everything SIemes has required in the links you've recommended and it still does not work. I've confirmed that my LOGO is correctly connected to the Cloud and that the shadow shows all of the itrems in my data tansfer settings. I've now invested in AWS support, and they have confirmed that my application down loaded and created an environement without error, however they don't know what's wrong at this point. I'm awaiting a reasponse from AWS after trying a couple of things that they recommended. They will be looking at the logs. As soon as I hear back from AWS support I will created another Siemens support request and incluide AW'S's findings. Perhaps someone in Siemens support can look further into it. THis should not be so hard. For my AWS application I copied a small portion of the "Connection to the Cloud" lsc example (inside light portion at bottom of the program) to make sure I wasn't creating a bad lsc or lwe application. I've tested it out on the LOGO we abd it works perfectly. I also tried the complete "Connection to the Cloud" example as provided by Siemens and I have the same issue; when I press a function key in the deployed LWE application, for example the inside light switch, it just spins. I've attached a zip file copy of my thing shadow, and a copy of the LSC and LWE application I'm using if you would lke help. Denny AttachmentTest.zip (544 Downloads) |

Also with your last upload the same problem with your LWE project. It doesn't matter which browser I use, the result is always the same: I cannot reach the web server. My opinion is: See attached video.
