pradhan135 Bronze Member Joined: 1/27/2012 Last visit: 6/20/2024 Posts: 84 Rating: (1)	Dear all, I have recently reinstalled all my Siemens softwares after formating Windows 7 64-bit laptop. After installing all the softwares step by stetp, when I started simulation using PLCsim and winCC flexible runtime, it give me below error: 70011 Date/time could not be set, error code: 1314,1. I have the Administrator rights and the same program works well in other laptops. This error comes in all of my projects. So this is not a project related error. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the winCC flexible. But couldn't resolve the error. Can anyone tell me what the error code 1314,1 mean? and how to resolve this problem. I think it's the second one. Georg How can i check that i have access rights or not? I have administrative rights. I can change the date and time. Do I require any other rights expect Administrator? Under my user name I can see the below group- Siemens TIA Engineer; Simatic HMI; Simatic HMI CS; Simatic HMI viewer; Administrators.

After long time, I found a proper solution for this in below link: For Runtime with PC station: 1. Be sure to have a Admin user 2. This user to be added in "Siemens TIA Portal" Group 3. Check below link to add this in "Change system time" policy OR Disable "Run all administrators in administrator confirmation mode" In my case, I had to disable "User Account Control:Run all administrators in administrator confirmation mode" https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ca/en/view/59203176

One leading to MP277 manual and the other to a post in the forum. Anyway, here further information to system alarm 70011 from TIA help (same system alarm for WinCC flex). Effect/causes: The system time could not be modified. The error message only appears in connection with area pointer "Date/time PLC". Possible causes: An invalid time was transferred in the job mailbox. The Windows user has no right to modify the system time. If the first parameter in the system event is displayed with the value 13, the second parameter indicates the byte containing the incorrect value. Solution: Check the time that is to be set. Under Windows: Users running WinCC Runtime must be granted the right to set the system time of the operating system. Regards, Frink

The issue seems to come from the OS blocking Siemens systems from accessing the PC's time. I am unable to obtain this type of access rights. Is it possible to disable the feature that allows the runtime to synchronize Windows time? The format is correct and comes from an older application that worked without issues.
