hello! 

my first PLC project and i am stuck…

i have been trying to connect the LOGO to my MTP400 without any progress… been trying different solutions and following some videos so now i dont know wich solutions i have tried and not… 

the purpose of the logo is that its gonna count how many objects that pass by the photocell. i have figured out how to get that to work only on the logo. but i want it to be possible to start the program, reset the counter, read the count and  write wich flavour we are running (it is icecream boxes going thru the photocell) so also change the flavour manually when we change flavour on the icecream. this is the things i want to do on the hmi:) hope i will get some help from you guys:)

Here's a simple example.

A switch control a lamp.

You must create only in the TIA project a connection for the LOGO!, in LSC must you not create a connection to the MTP.

could also add that the test project i made myself worked in the simulation so the LOGO reacted to the simulation from my pc, but as soon as i try to press the buttons on the hmi i get no response from the LOGO.
