LOGO 12/24RC no output voltage!

alexmac_uk Posts: 118 Rating: (1)	Hi, I have bought a LOGO12/24RC and have connected a 24volt switch to input I1. In my program when this switch is made it operates output Q1 after a second using a timer. I have connected a 24volt solenoid to the terminals of output Q1 but nothing at all happens. Does anybody know why this is at all??

Fux Posts: 661 Rating: (123)	Did you have a look at the online-test to be sure that your input/output gets really activated? (also possible if you look at the I/O status display on LOGO! itself). Next question is about your wiring. A little bit more information, please.

The input was becoming activated but i noticed it kept going off then back on again for some strange reason and then i heard a clicking noise from inside the logo so i thought it was faulty, but tried it today and there is no noise. The wiring:- I have wired the N/O switch by taking a cable from an external 24 volt supply to the N/O contact and from the other N/O contact to input I1 on the logo. The output Q1 i have a solenoid, 2 thin red cables. I take it these are connected straight to the 2 terminals on Q1 either way round??

You pay attention: Слайд 6 .O {color:black; font-size:149%;} a:link {color:#0077BE !important;} a:active {color:#8CA3B0 !important;} a:visited {color:#0077BE !important;} I1 = AI3 - analogue input I2 = AI4 - analogue input I7 = AI1 - analogue input I8 = AI2 - analogue input Probably it will help you. Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, Wiring of the inputs: Use the P of the LOGO!24V power suplly, though your switch and connect it to I1. The LOGO! 12/24 RC has 8 inputs. 4 of these Inputs (I1,2,7 & 8) you can use as digital or analog inputs. But not at the same time ;-))) What I thinks is a problem with your wiring at the output side. RC in the name means R = Relais, C = Clock. So if nothing is connected to the outputs, and you enable your switch, then you can hear when the relai will close its contact. But it does not spend any voltage. You have to power it and use the close contact of the LOGO! output (relais contact) to close the circiut, so you load will be powered. This is differnet to a LOGO! 24. Here you have transistor outputs. This outputs spend 24V 0.3A. I hope this helsp

alexmac_uk Posts: 118 Rating: (1)	When i run the program through the online option the input gets made and it flicks on and off constantly surely this isn't right unless its just the online program can't keep up with the real time. I have a 24volt supply on terminal 2 of output Q1 and one red wire off my solenoid connected into terminal 1 of output Q1 and the other red wire off my solenoid to 0 volt. Still isn't operating, whats going wrong, is the logo faulty?
