AM2 destroyed-what did I do wrong?

magnus Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I wanted to use the 4-20mA option on the AM2 module for a pressure transmitter. To test it, I connected the input I on the AM2 to the 24V powersupply, via a resistor giving 8 mA of current. It worked for a few seconds- then no current is flowing. I switched over to the other input- the same thing happening again and the module seems destroyed. Siemens has no electric wiring diagram over the modules, so I don't know what I did wrong. Should M be connected to - (mass)? Anybody have some information? Thanks in advance/Magnus
