what kind of font file can be used in WinCC Flexible 2005

Drew Posts: 31 Rating: (3)	Hi, everyone, I want to use different font in my panel project, but some font file (.ttf) downloaded from internet can't been listed in the "configured font family *", and there are also some font (such as KaiTi_GB2312 which is a kind of Chinese font) can be selected in the "configured font family" but display as a blank block in the panel picture. Can you help me?

Drew Posts: 31 Rating: (3)	thank you skimmer, I use MP370, and I can also use some kinds of the Chinese fonts in WinCC flexible, but KaiTi_GB2312 and FangSong_GB2312(KaiTi and FangSong is one of the most popular font in China, and GB2312 is a standard of the Chinese code). I have also download some other kind of font, but after installation, I can't even find them in the list of "configured font family". Aother evidence is that there are many font files in other %systemroot%\font\, but there are less in the "configured font family" list. BR. Drew

skimmer Posts: 317 Rating: (18)	Sorry Drew but I didn't get any luck.[:(] It seems that both the fonts are delivered within the scope of XP(simfang.ttf & simkai.ttf) but I don't have them installed and I couldn't find them on the installation CD for XP. Maybe it's only possible to use these fonts with a Chinese OS on the PC or a Chinese version of WinCC Flexible. It's probably a good idea to raise a support case with Siemens TS and see what they say. Sorry couldn't be more help.
