DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	What is the frequency of the signal you are counting? Sinamics CU320 does not have high speed counter hardware built-in. It is a Profibus/Profinet slave, so it does not have access to remote IO high speed counters (ET200M or ET200S), unlike PLC or motion controller. It is possible to implement you own counter using Drive Control Chart (DCC) programmable package, but the logic will not execute faster then 1ms. If signal repeats faster then 2 ms, then this solution is not practical and higher level controller is needed.
