Can I connect an external diaplay to the MAG5000 to a larger display so that it gives the same reading as in the orignal display

You can always put a loop powered digital indicator in the 4-20mA output signal of the MAG5000, so that the 4-20mA signal goes to both the indicator and whatever else you've connected to.

But whenever you have two indications of the same value and transmission is analog mode, the two values are not likely to correspond in the last digit or so. But it's usually good enough for what most people need. Loop powered meters have different numbers of digits, 3, 3 1/2, 4, 4 1/2, etc.

The Mag5000 spec says that it has a Modbus RTU communications option, but I can only find a quickstart guide on his site and the quick start guide does not publish the slave register table. So it isn't clear what format the data is in. And that's critical because the digital indicators the can read Modbus RTU tend to be limited in what data format(s) each can read.

Do you happen to have a document with the Mag5000's register addressing and formats?
