I want touse the complete functionality of SIWAREX U2 via read/write data records. Kindly provide a sample project (STEP 7 v5.5) for the same. The getting started SIWAREX U project deals with a custom FB - FB 45 eventhough it uses "RD_REC" and "WR_REC" but FB45 is protected. I am using STEP 7 v11in my project, so the protected blocks can't be migrated. Hence I am interested in STEP 7 v5.5 SIWAREX U data records sample project or it will be convincing if there is a SIWAREX U2 project available for STEP 7 v11 with some documentation. Thanks in advance.

Best regards Siwarexi Hi Siwarexi, Thanks for the v11 project. I'm using S7-1200 with ET200M: IM153-4 PN with SIWAREX U. The provided program is using STL and sicne S7-1200 doesn't support STL can anyone provide SIWAREX Program for S7-1200. Awaiting replies

Best regards Siwarexi Hi Siwarexi But a CPU1214 DC/DC/DC with CM1243-5 DP Master and SIWAREX U on IM 153-2 is having no configuration errors during project compilation in STEP 7 Professional v11. (whereas there are configuration errors reported in S7-1200 + SIWAREX U PROFINET configuration) May be you can check with this particular configuration and give feedback. FYI. Not only SIWAREX U is supported but the other FM modules are also supported in S7-1200 PROFIBUS configuration. Also is it mentioned somewhere in the manual or elsewhere about this " „function modules“ aren’t support into theS7-1200 system."?

But this possibility to insert a Siwarex module into a S7-1200 system and compile this project without an errorwill work no longer in the future and the Siwarex modules can’t be used into a S7-1200 system.
