Change time in a timer

one2three Posts: 37 Rating: (1)	Hi! Is it possible to change the timeofa 'on dealy timer' via a mp277 touch panel? I've manage to change the time, but the timer dosnt count down. I think that my solution isnt the right one. I'm sending 1 int and then multiply with 256 in my s7 project, then move it to a dbw (time) and then I use that as a time on my 'on delat timer' but it feels like the panel is "holding" the value so my timer cant count down. What is the right way to make this happen? I can't be the first one wanting to change the time of a timer, but still I can't find anyone else asking about it. Thanks in advance Johan

S5 timers look at the preset one time: when first enabled. Once the timer starts timing you can change the preset but it will not affect the timer until the next time the timer is enabled. When I have an application in which this limitation is not acceptable I will use a "homemade" timer.
