Status bits for CPU & FIO!

tclee82 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm new user in S7. Hope you guys don't mind I ask some stupid question! The problem I meet is need to know how to get the status bit for main plc & FIO. CPU: S7-315 DP Is it use OB86 or something? But I also don't know how to use the data in OBs! Anyone can help me? Thanks!

Denilson Pegaia Diamond Member Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 12/24/2025 Posts: 4434 Rating: (1487)	Hi, two simple suggestions: 1 - Use the function "report system error" of the HW config to display in a Siemens HMI all diagnose easly. 2 - Use de F_DB that the HW config generate to obtain a diagnose of the F IO for you program.

I need to uses Wonderware 9.5 to read the plc status & 3 FIOs wnich use TCP/IP(Auto) -> Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Ne.. I am uses 4 colour block to show these status! So, is it in bit format? Thank again for your help!
