I have tried to reach your colleagues email address motioncontrol.docu@erlf.siemens.de that take care of the manuals. But every time I receive a message that says User unknown. This email address is written in the latest Sinumerik 840D manuals from October 2005.

Can you provide me with the correct email address to them?

The reason why I tried to reach your colleagues is that I have found two possible correction suggestions in the Sinumerik 840D manuals, and I know that every help to make the manuals accurate and better is helpful. Maybe you can send this information to the right colleague.

In the Sinumerik 840D English manual; (PG) Fundamentals programming manual, edition 08/2005, on page 12-64, and string function SUBSTR. This example SUBSTR(“Hello world”)1.5 returns “ello”, should be SUBSTR(“Hello world”)1,5

In the Sinumerik 840D English manual; (BNM) Measuring cycles, edition 10/2004, on page 358, is says; Offset of T8 with app……., it should be; Offset of T9 with app…….
