Dear Experts,

I stumbled on an dying OP17 connected to a serial floppy disk device from Sympat.

I have the Protool original project file but I am missing the driver for the FD20 unit (v4.xx).

Where can I get the driver and the instruction to load it on the OP17?

The Sympat Gmbh seem not exist anymore.

thnx, yes I saw that page before, but as user said, company doesn't exists to date. I was looking to manual and is interesting what must be implemented if that Floppy device is connected for ex. to RS-232 port, or USB?  Never heard about loading some driver to OP. Yes, I got many OPs with Floppys in our plant that are connected internaly, this Works, but serially? Very interesting...

The serial floppy disk station is connected to OP17 IF2 port (DB15).

At power up, the floppy disk station do some work reading the floppy disk (led active for about 10 sec.).

When a recipe record is read by the OP17, led is active for about 2 sec..

Update, some info about that v4.0 driver, what I've found is order number, maybe it is not available but on web can be some other infos:
