Hello , 

We have problem in SITRANS F M MAG 6000 Flow meter in the flow rate.

We set Q is 0-900 l/hrs but it show -400 to 500 L/hrs. 


What is the problem , I think we sure about cable connecting and correct flow direction.

is it 4 to 20 mA or Profibus ?

Is this flow continuously fluctuating? If yes,

Check the grounding is proper on flow sensor side? Quick check you can do is by connecting a small earthing wire on one of flange bolts. Then connect to instrument earth (Not electrical earth) or just touch to some metal pole which is grounded or just bolt it on ground/floor.

Refer to manual for types of grounding you need to consider while installing.
