Is it possible to remove all windows environment like taskbar, start menu...etc and display only wincc RT?

desmul24 Posts: 378 Rating: (73)	Dear Experts, I have machine with one HMI MP277 10'' and the hardware had been failed. Thus untill i get part replacement i have replaced by desktop pc with win xp sp2, using Simantic USB PC adapter and wincc runtime. I have done to run .fwx file during computer startup and i make autohide the taskbar. Is it possible to remove all windows environment like taskbar, start menu...etc and display only wincc RT? [schnippschnapp] Many thanks! Splitted from WINCC v7.0 is possible in VISTA HOME PREMIUM?.

Go to Computer Properties --> Parameter --> Disable Keys enable all options in that. Now, when you go to runtime all keys will be disabled. make sure you have a way out of this condition first

desmul24 Posts: 378 Rating: (73)	Dear all thanks for your replay! I think i found a better way. I am trying to remove windows login screen from OS and replace by wincc flexible runtime. This needs to write some program by VB.NET. Then during start up it displays directly wincc runtime without displaying windows login screen and desktop environments. I will post if I got some sucess! Regards

To prevent them from getting to the desktop while the HMI is active, go to Device settings, enable 'Full Screen Mode' and 'Lock task switching'. Make sure to create a 'Stop Runtime' button as there will be no other way to stop the HMI otherwise.
