Naoki Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Hello I tried to install "SIMATIC WinCC flexible 2008 SP3 ASIA Advanced" on Windows7, but failed. Then I got a dialog message. -------------------------------------------------- The following program could not be installed: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP4 Setup cannot complete the installation. 207 Unknown MSI Error Code : 207 -------------------------------------------------- Are there anyone who knows the cause and the solution? ----information---- PC:DELL Latitude E5520 OS:Windows 7 Professional SP1 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition [ENU] is installed originally. Any relation with this problem? Regards,

SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition SQL Server Native Client SQL Server Setup Support File SQL VSS Writer 2. Run D:\InstData\SQLExpress\SQLEXPR.EXE in DVD to install SQL Server 2005. 3. Run D:\Setup.exe in DVD to install WinCC flexible. 4. Complete Thank you for advice, SteBo and Darius.

Drj123@123 Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	I have same issue . i am try to installing wincc flexible sp3 they show error "following program could not be installed: Microsoft SQL server 2005 express edition configuration setup can not complete the installation "while installing wincc flexible sp3 configuration: I have windows 7 professional sp1 OS. 8GB RAM, 64 bit processor :2.60 Ghtz i have more doubt , wincc 7.0 already install my laptop which have Database instance in Microsoft SQL server 2005, if i uninstall Microsoft SQL server 2005 express edition is it affected to Wincc 7.0 scada. I have attached Error. Plz help me Attachment Error.PNG (377 Downloads)
