Hi, Below links may be helpful to you. How do you access an SQL database in WinCC Runtime Advanced using a script? How do you archive tags and messages in an SQL database with WinCC (TIA Portal) Advanced? |

Dear Amol, I'm just checking the links you have sent, and something has put me in a doubt. Could you please help? In second link I'm reading the PDF file and there it says: The following compenents must be installed on the PC.
My question is, can any computer without WinCC V15 reach the datas from SQL Server? Also, what I understood. PC system, which will be used for automation system shoud exist MS SQL Server 2014 and MS SQL Server Management Studio 17. Am I right? For example, PC system will be in the production area and my manager wants to check datas from sql server which he has not Computer with WinCC V15. Thank you! |
