How do I control 1..10V when the end module generates the control voltage?

This in turn is very dependent on the basic module type (LOGO! 8.0, LOGO! 8.1 or LOGO! 8.2) and the size and type of the program. 2.) With the PWM block, a minimum period time can be set to 0.01s. There is a reason that Siemens does not provide precise information on the cycle time and also not to the switching rate of the transistor outputs.

Support Gold Expert Joined: 9/19/2018 Last visit: 12/6/2024 Posts: 399 Rating: (47)	The manual tells for the transistor outputs: Ohmic load: 10 Hz Inductive load: 0.5 Hz I've seen more for ohmic load directly on the LOGO! (no extension module) but this depends on several factors and is not guaranteed. And k Hz is never possible.

However: The cycle time of LOGO! is not constant. If other features are used, then the cycle time may be effected. Other features: + I/O-Status + Web-Server + LOGO! Access Tool + Datalog + Online-Test + communication to HMI, Modbus, PLC, .. + ..... In Simatic this can be influenced with "timer interrupts, or similar". LOGO! does not have Interrupts you can control. So I believe the value 10Hz, 0,5 Hz is a typical value.

Support Gold Expert Joined: 9/19/2018 Last visit: 12/6/2024 Posts: 399 Rating: (47)	If you what know how fast is the switching for the actor behind the transistor output, the cycle time is not important as it's normally much smaller the 100ms /2000ms. If the output pin of the output Qx is internally used in the LOGO! diagram, then only the cycle time is relevant. In this case the output Qx is the same as a flag Mx. Hint: In chapter B of the LOGO! manual it’s described how to measure the cycle time. As it’s already name in this thread, the cycle time is not constant.

Without using the simple web server, the cycle frequency is approx. 25 Hz higher than when using the simple web server. The cycle frequencies also fluctuate slightly.
