Is it possible to upgrade module series 8.x to a new version 8.3?

And Siemens will not comment on this because LOGO! 8.3 has not even been released. In other words, it is not yet available for purchase. I personally assume, however, that the firmware of LOGO! S series 8.1 and 8.2 cannot be updated to 8.3. Upgrading to 8.2 was also not possible with the 8.1 series. The firmware can probably only be updated within a series.

To get better functions and visual elements with newest version Logo Web Editor. I don't think that LWE 2.0 will work with a LOGO!8.1. That LOGO! has no extented web Server, only LOGO!8.2.

The new v8.3 base modules will be compatible with the existing I/O modules etc. The new version of LWE will be v1.1 and can be used with v8.2 and v8.3 devices. The new LOGO! Soft Comfort v8.3 will be backwards compatible to older hardware versions as always, and you will be able to upgrade older LOGO! Soft Comfort versions to v8.3 once available. I hope this helps!

Yes the new LWE V1.1 will be compatible with LOGO V8.2 but you will not be able to use the cloud option of LWE V1.1 on LOGO V8.2.
