The expansion modules of the 0BA8 series (6ED1055-XXXXX-0BA2) can be combined with each 0BA8 base module and with each other. Exception 1: Digital 24 VDC expansion modules cannot be combined directly with 230 VAC base or expansion modules. An analog expansion module must be connected in between for electrical isolation. Exception 2: No 230 VAC expansion modules may be added to digital 24 VDC expansion modules or analog expansion modules.
