Hi Cheekyeng, for infos of NPN and PNP look at the internet and at the attached file.. At the LOGO! you can connect both. Then you must only use the corresponded I/O-pin in the circuit as activ "high" = "1"(PNP) OR as active "low" = "0"(NPN; = use it inverted). The LOGO! Memory Card (purple) provides storage for the circuit program. The LOGO! Battery Card provides battery backup of the real-time clock for up to two years. The LOGO!
