I use it for reading an analog laser sensor. But the green light (RUN/STOP) doesn't go on anymore. Is there a way to reset my analog block? or is it broken?

If the RUN/STOP LED not lit with in any color, then is a problem with the power supply or the module is defective. A reset is not possible. You try it with switch off the power supply.

I also know from previous contributions from the user that the sensor has already worked.

Yesterday the sensor gave me the constant value of -650. it didn't changed when i put the white wire in AI2. So today I saw that there was no light on the module. So maybe with another module and just L+ , M to 24v and I will not use the slider anymore.

I only use 3. +, - and the white one (signal). I don't use the black wire. I wired the + and - to my 24V, the same 24V as the LOGO and as the AM2. The AM2 was placed next to the logo, the slider was in, and there was 24V on top of it L+ and M On the bottom of the AM2 the white wire was placed in AI1. So when i have my new AM2, I guess i only should wire the L+ and M with 24V and don't put the slider in the LOGO?

So maybe with another module and just L+ , M to 24v and I will not use the slider anymore. The best is if you make wiring works or module changing: Switch of the power supply for LOGO! and module. Then chance the AM2 module and make the wiring. Then switch on the power supply.

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 9/3/2025 Posts: 35917 Rating: (4496)	The LOGO! shows you constant -650 because there's no signal from AM2 to the LOGO!. So the LOGO! become 0 units from the AM2 and by your sensor settings (min = 100, max = 3100, sensor type 0 4-20 mA). The offset is -650.

Mr.V Silver Member Joined: 6/19/2019 Last visit: 9/2/2025 Posts: 743 Rating: (79)	If everything is ok you can slide in AM2 module to your LOGO but i see one correction if you use 3 wires give +24 and M to sensor and take white wire (analogue) to AM2 module channel - I1 so also you need connect M from power supply to your AM2 module to M1 channel.
