Hello Raj dan, this is a hard question. I admit, I have just a little knowledge about Starter at all. I know that they use functions like STEP7 does... but more advanced for the control of the drives used. Right know I could not say what disturbs Starter not to provide the online function. But I know if you use V 1.0 of the EX 20 CP you may have a way to update your CP 443-1 EX 20 form V 1.0 to V 2.0. This update has some improvements in communication... maybe also a fix for your application. You may find the V 2.0 Firmware for your CP at: Download of V2.0 Firmware for CP 443-1 if you also configure this version in STEP7 it maybe fixes your problem. This would be the only point I could think of. Best regards J_Bell |

To access a drive with Starter or DriveMonitor from a PC on Ethernet via Ethernet-CP and CPU with DP-interface, all the hardware must have the "routing-functionality". If you select any device in hardware-catalogue, there must be a note "Routing". In hardware-catalogueCP443-1 Type 6GK7 443 – 1EX20 – 0XE0 / v1.0 shows "Routing". So the behaviour is difficult to understand. ---------- Two more hints: -To perform routing, DriveES Basic must be installed on that PC / Engineering-station. There have been 2 versions of Starter, when routing was possible having only Starter and not DriveES Basic. Perhaps this works with the older CP and not with the newer on. So DriveES Basic should be installed. - Any change in hardware-configuration must be loaded / transferred via Netpro into both enginiering station (station-manager slot 125)and AS.
