Hi Dears,

In a crane application we have a hoist movement done by two drives with two motors. Hoist drive #1 and hoist drive #2. Recently we have a repeated F082 on Hoist drive#1. What can be the possible causes?

Profibus plug, encoder and control box ( CUVC and power supply and other attached cards) have been replaced but still have the repeated F082 faults on HDrive#1.

Check the profibus cable between 1 and2  drives .

If you have the plc check the connector profibus and the cable

checked all connections and also replaced cable but same problem

in case of fault pmu display F082 and only red LED is flashing in CBP card

note: there are alot of drives on profibus loop ,this the only one showing this fault

after we made diagnostic for LED indication ,see the as attached photos

to make CB diagnostic action (as remedy) we should change p722 

I need your advice about the steps
