S7-1200 PUT/GET

What you are aiming to do is possible. What you need to look for is an Ethernet port that is capable of using an S7 communication protocol. Another ethernet communications may also be a possibility. Keep also in mind you could also use a Profibus link for Put/Get communications. Have a look at the document: [CPU-CPU Communication with SIMATIC Controllers]. An extract is given as an attachment. That means every device that module communicates with either needs to be in the same IP range or connected via a router. Router may not perform as needed depending on what you want or need to do. That is why I mention it.
