Danfoss VLT communication with S7-1200/1500 via EtherNet/IP

MrPLC*** After a few tries and errors, I've successfully established the communication between the PLC and the inverters. The configuration was not so user friendly on the danfoss side, but using the siemens documentation I've understood what to do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from S7 1515 2-PN and ethernet/IP inverter danfoss.

There are many examples to communicate S7-1200/1500 with other controllers (Rockweel, Omron, Schneider) via EtherNet/IP protocol using the EtherNet/IP Scanner: EtherNet/IP Scanner – Connecting third party I/O’s using EtherNet/IP - ID: 109782314 - Industry Support Siemens What I need to know is if it is possible to perform the same communication with another device that is not a PLC or remote ET.

I think that this driver is standard capable so there will be no problems to exchange data with any EtherNet/IP device. For more details I recommend to check documentation to this specific comm library, also examples as you stated already.
