Can anyone help me/ share docs to understand the difference between different Send/Receive Instructions.

I just confused which instruction where i have to use and what is the significance and benefit of the particular instruction.

I.E. check page 249 / chapter 43 "Overview of User Interfaces" but there are lots of information about communication over TCP and other possibilities.
