Hi,
I'm having trouble with safety-related IO controller-I-Device -communication between CPU 1516F (master) and CPU 317F (slave). F-CPUs are configured in separate projects (CPU 317F with Simatic manager) and CPU 317F is imported to TIA Portal with GSD-file. In both projects RCVDP and SENDDP -blocks are used.

IN SIMATIC MANAGER (V5.6 SP2):

In TIA Portal slot 2 1003 gives following errors:
- Check the bus connection and ensure that there are no external sources of interference.
- Check the configured monitoring time (TIMEOUT) and the F-communication ID (DP_DP_ID/UUID) at the send and receive ends.
- Check the connection configuration.

What I'm missing?

I am actually stuck in an issue very similar to your issue. Where did you add the 6bytes ? 

I will be very helpful to know that.
