jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, I guess it is an ET200 onProfibus (the setting does not exist for a Profinet ET200) Have a look in the parameters of the IM151 in HWconfig (parameters of the ET200 head itself andnot from the modules) There is a setting "operation if actual ><preset" (or something like that) This allows the module to keep running in case the actual configuration differs from the configured configration (defetctive module, missing module, ...) Be aware of the eventual risks for the process to allow the ET200 to continue to run in case of an error.

You can detect such events only by cyclically reading the diagnostic frame and evaluating the module status.. For more info check in SIMATIC Distributed I/O System ET 200S (page 102). Is it possible to change and make it as it does not fall Bye, If you have Analog module failing, then first you identify why does it fail, as some times analog modules fails because of analog input wire disconnected, which can also be configured, weather or not you want any module to fail in such cases. As otherwise more than one module error will fail the slave.

If you can't find it then let me find out other option. Thanks

You can detect such events only by cyclically reading the diagnostic frame and evaluating the module status. I just want to highlight that this is just related to S7-300 CPU. S7-400 CPUs can register insertion and removal directly in OB 83 for Siemens Profibus slaves configured from HW configuration catalog. If it's S7-300 CPU then as far as I know the IM of ET200S should be configured using GSD file because in case of module removal the CPU will call OB82 (If GSD file is for DPV1)not OB83. Best regards.
