Hi, If you want to use APL standard, you can create a digital or analog structure with inside a "Value" of type Bool/Real etc. and "ST" of type Byte. If you want the structure and the value inside to be available in WinCC, you need to set the following. For example:
The "x" identifier is used to identify a signal inside the structure. |

Hi, Set S7_m_c for the structure and set S7_xm_c to address the signal inside the structure. So yes, both are set |

The SIMATIC Process Control System PCS 7 APL Style Guide is pretty comprehensive for explaining how the properties needs to be set. example from page 46-47:
where S7_xm_c definition line parameters contains the Struct sub variable name(s) and the true property. In that example the Value parameter is made OCM. |
