I have a project that has been running well. I finished it and a day after all worked well between my PLCSIM Adv and HMI Simulation, it stopped working, The HMI is unable to connect and control the PLC Software. I have deleted the HMI Connection and Rebuilt it but nothing is working. When I compile the PLC software and the HMI, I do not find any errors. So I can safely verify that It was working fine all alone during the whole development and now it doesn't. I have moved the Project to another PC and it is doing exactly the same thing. Please may you kindly help me out. I am using the CPU 1511-1PN V2.9, the PLSIM ADV V6 and the TP1500 Comfort V17.0.0.0. May you kindly help me solve this issue please. I have looked at the other solutions provided in the community forum but none worked for me.

You have published in the Unified Systems category -- you do not have a Unified Systems product. Also you have not mentioned which solutions you have tried yet. This risks the volunteers applying incorrect remedy suggestions.

Before the experts come in with helpful messages..

Please check if your Windows' update history. Tell us which Windows version you are running and which updates have loaded in the past days. Consider stepping back Windows updates if you had any in the last days which may have effected your system.

Tell us also exactly which version of softwares you are running.

The last update on my Machine(OS)  is 2025-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5058411), which was done n the 14/05/2025 and that is about 2 weeks before I started experiencing the problem. I am Using Simatic Step 7 Professional V19, PLCSIM Advanced V6, and Simatic HMI-WinCC Unified PC

What I have done is, 

1. Deleted the HMI Connection and rebuilt it and ensured that I have that connection on all my tags under the HMI Connections

2. I tried to delete a/one Button from my HMI and recreate it anew - link it to my PLC and only the Button on the HMI controlling the HMI works (e.g. the buttons to change from Home Screen to Faults screen) but no buttons that control Tags on the PLC DBs are working, even if I make new ones.

3. I have selected S7ONLINE (STEP &) →Siemens PLCSIM Virtual Ethernet Adapter.TCPIP.1 <Active> on my “Set PG/PC Interface", it was initially on PLCSIM.TCPIP.1 when I realised that things had stopped working. 

4. I changed IPs on my PLC and HMI maintaining the same subnet and still the issue is persisting.

I also followed a few other solutions that I saw under the Unified Systems category community forums and they did not work. That is why I posted under this category.
