SzurkeDani Joined: 9/12/2024 Last visit: 10/13/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am using S7-1513-1 PN with V2.9 fw (6ES7 513-1AL02-0AB0) with Tia Portal V19. I would like to ask if there is any SNMP config option, with my setup. I have noticed that the TMAIL_C service is not working. These block were working before, so the parameters are right, nothing has changed. On request the e-mail gets sent, but it does not arrive into the Inbox (Microsoft Outlook). It also changes between #8009, #7001, #7002 status randomly it seems. The watchdog timer is on 10s so that can not be the problem. Do you have any idea, or tips how can I get this function to work again? Thank you!

From what I've seen on the internet, there's a parameter for configuring SNMP in TIA portal, but I can't find it there. According to the internet, I need to go to the CPU and in the parameters I'll be able to see an SNMP tab. However I can't find it, I saw that you could use Wrecc to set SNMP properties, is that how you did it? This is not an answer to your question but more a question for you. Do I need to dowload a special Licence? Or maybe it's just activated with nothing? Thank you in advance and have a nice day!

I recommend installing the latest available PLC firmware first - it fixes cybersecurity bugs and makes many other improvements available for higher portal versions. I did this for a S7-1515 with TIA 17 following the manual Activating/deactivating SNMP by data record transfer. This may help to activate SNMP, too. Regards, Frink
